Jamea Richmond-Edwards’ art excavates universal mythologies and the power of self determination. Her iconic figures are forged in Detroit’s legacy of reinvention and her personal odyssey.

Why Spain? The OTAK Commitment to Legacy Craftsmanship.  

At OTAK, we obsess over quality, durability, and soul. That’s why we deliberately sought out a family workshop in Alicante, Spain, whose 80-year lineage of pure handcraft aligns with our uncompromising vision.  

We didn’t just find a factory we partnered with custodians of tradition. Since 1944, the family has preserved the vanishing art of true shoemaking: carving lasts by hand, stitching patterns from imagination, and shaping soles with the patience only mastery brings. By placing our boots in their care, we ensure:
